Jet Charter New Zealand arranges private flights into New Zealand from the United States, Australia and the Pacific Islands, and flights around the country once you have arrived. Talk to an advisor at 1-888-987-5387, or fill in the form below and we will come back to you with options.
What to tell us
Give us your starting point, the dates you have in mind and how many people are traveling. Then list each place you want to go, whether that is a meeting in Auckland, a lodge near Queenstown or a few days in the wine regions. Skis and golf clubs both need space in the baggage hold, so include them, and mention any pet on the first call. If you are chartering for the first time, your advisor will walk you through the quote and what to expect on the day you fly.
Which airport you will use
Most private flights into New Zealand arrive at Auckland Airport (NZAA/AKL). Queenstown Airport (NZQN/ZQN) serves the lodges, golf courses and ski areas around Queenstown and Wanaka. Christchurch International Airport (NZCH/CHC) and Wellington International Airport (NZWN/WLG) are the other main options. Which one suits you depends on the aircraft, the time of year and the address you are heading to, and your advisor will compare them for your trip. From the United States, most trips include a fuel stop on the way, and the operator confirms the routing before you book.
What happens next
Your advisor sends back the aircraft that fit the trip, with the certified operator for each option named, so you know who would fly you before you decide. Under DOT Part 295, when we book a flight as your agent rather than as the operator, we put it in writing. The advisor who quotes your trip is the one who looks after it, right through to your landing in New Zealand. New Zealand’s seasons are the reverse of North America’s. The summer holidays from mid-December through January book up first, and so does the ski season, which usually runs from mid-June into early October.
